Minimum Entry Requirements

FOR MALAYSIAN CANDIDATES:  FOR INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES: 
  1. Either one (1) of the following below:
    • Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or *equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.5;
    • Pass A Level minimum Grade C in Three (3) other subjects;
    • Pass Matriculation/Foundation with minimum CGPA 2.5;
    • Pass any Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.5 (Credit transfer is not allowed) equivalent MQF level 4
    • Pass Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution by MNB with minimum two (2) years clinical working experience. (Credit transfers allowed)
    • Pass Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution by MNB without two (2) years clinical working experience. (Credit transfers are not allowed) and may enrol degree with 4 years course minimum credit open graduation are 120.
    • Passed in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with Jayyid in four (4) subjects starting 2024.

    AND

    All candidate who possesses STPM, A-Level, Matriculation / Foundation and pass any Diploma except Diploma in Nursing MUST possess:

  2. Either one (1) of the credit below:
    • Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science at SPM or its equivalent.
  3. Credit in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern) at SPM or its equivalent.
  4. MUET with minimum of Band 3/IELTS with a minimum of 5.5 /TOEFL with a minimum score of 515/215/80 /Crredit in English in SPM.
  1. Either one (1) of the following below:
    • Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or * equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.5;
    • Pass “A” Level minimum Grade C in Three (3) other subjects;
    • Pass Foundation with minimum CGPA 2.5;
    • Pass any Diploma with a minimum CGPA 2.5 (Credit transfer is not allowed) equivalent MQF Level 4.
    • Pass Diploma in Nursing and Registered with the Nursing Council of the country of origin.
    • Minimum two (2) years clinical working experience. (Credit transfers allowed)
    • Must sear nursing board examination by MNB before enrolment.

    AND

    All candidate who possesses STPM, “A” Level, Foundation and pass any Diploma except Diploma in Nursing MUST possess:

  2. Either one (1) of the credit below (minimum Grade C)
    • General Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science at SPM or its equivalent.
  3. Credit in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern) at SPM or its equivalent.
  4. IELTS with a minimum of 5.5 /TOEFL with a minimum score of 515/215/80.
  5. Cambridge English Advanced (CAE)
  6. Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)
  7. Pearson Test of English (PTE)
(*EQUIVALENT – refers to the overseas academic qualification obtained that are equivalent to STPM as approved by MQA)

Health Status

  • All candidates MUST be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one month from commencement of the nursing programme.
  • Candidate with any of the following medical conditions cannot be admitted into the programme such as:
    • Serious physical or mental illness and / or
    • Serious Communicable Disease
    • Candidate MUST not have any physical disability and mental disorder or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity.

All the requirements will keep in student file by the student admission and recruitment division.
