The Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health provides a strong foundation in Safety, Health, Legislation, Management and Basic Sciences, fully aligned with MQA Program Standards and the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994. Designed to meet industry needs, the program equips graduates with the skills to manage workplace risks, ensure compliance and lead safety initiatives that protect lives across diverse industries.

Minimum Entry Requirements

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
  1. Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with pass in English at SPM level with THREE CREDITS in the following subjects:
    • Mathematics and ONE Science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science) and
    • Any other ONE subject

    OR

  2. Posses Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) / Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) Level 3 in the relevant field
  3. Note: AIMST will conduct specific screening and guidance related to the field of the program for the students

    OR

  4. A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the relevant field with at least CGPA of 2.00
  5. OR

  6. A Pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject
  7. OR

  8. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least Grade Maqbul
  9. OR

  10. Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
