The Master of Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy) programme in AIMST University is designed to provide students the opportunity to develop their skills in evidence-based practice, quality use of medicines, practice- based research and the provision of high-level clinical pharmacy services.

The programme will provide a knowledge base of core clinical pharmacy subjects. It will assist students with the development of written and oral communication skills, ability to critically evaluate clinical literature, and to conduct practice-based research.

Minimum Entry Requirements

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS: 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) senate; or
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five years working experience in relevant field.
  • English requirements for international students
    • Where applicant’s first language is not English, they must provide evidence of competence in English:
      1. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores of 550; or
      2. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.0.
