MASTER OF SCIENCE (PHARMACY)

The MSc (Pharmacy) is designed to provide students with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skill in planning, constructing and conducting research in the pharmaceutical-related area.

Programme Outline

Method of delivery:

  • By Research
  • A candidate may be required to supplement the research by attendance at or formal enrolment in additional subjects. A candidate from non-pharmacy background is required to enroll into the bridging program (to take introduction to pharmacy papers)

 

QUALIFICATION  ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS 
MQA requirement:
Masters by Research & Masters by Mixed Mode:
CGPA > 2.75, for 2.75 >CGPA> 2.5 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
Masters by coursework: Min CGPA of 2.5
*Int Student- TOEFL Min Score 550 or IELTS Min Score 6.0 If No Language Criteria then need to pass Language Placement Examination at University Level.
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy Min CGPA of 2.75 as accepted by HEP Senate
2.75 > CGPA > 2.50 with 3 years working experience
MUET Band 4 or TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS Grade 6
International applicants must sit and pass Bahasa Malaysia (LKM 100)
Bachelor’s degree in related CGPA > 2.75. Need to take a bridging programme.

Malaysia (LKM 100) during the duration of the study.
