AIMST ALUMNUS GIVA KUPPUSAMY HONOURED WITH PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARDS AT MCY 2024
We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our alumnus, Giva Kuppusamy, whose leadership has propelled GK Aqua to national acclaim with the prestigious Commercialisation Award and the Overall Malaysia Commercialisation Award (MCY 2024). These distinguished awards were presented by YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, at the MCY Summit 2024 held on 12 & 13 August 2024.
Giva, an alumnus of AIMST University with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biotechnology (2008) and an MSc in Aquaculture from the University of St Andrews, brings over 15 years of expertise in biotech research and business development. His expertise and innovative approach have been pivotal in driving GK Aqua’s success in the biotechnology sector, particularly in sustainable aquaculture.
These accolades not only highlight GK Aqua’s groundbreaking innovations but also underscore the exceptional contributions of our alumni in shaping industries and making significant advancements in their fields.
