AIMST UNIVERSITY STRENGTHENS GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT WITH NORTH SICHUAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, CHINA

AIMST University further strengthened its global footprint through an official visit to North Sichuan Medical University (NSMC), China.

The delegation was led by YBHG Dato’ Sri Dr. Devamany Krishnasamy (Board of Director), accompanied by senior academic leaders:

• Prof. Dr. Lee Su Yen – Director, Centre for Postgraduate Studies & Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sivachandran Parimannan – Director of Research & Innovation
• Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Asem Bin Mohamed Ameerdin – Director of Lifelong Learning & Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine

The visit focused on knowledge transfer and best practices sharing, paving the way for initiatives in student exchanges, joint research collaborations, postgraduate pathways, and international clinical placements. The programme also featured a campus and hospital tour, academic presentations, and a cultural exchange dinner that highlighted the warmth of partnership.

This collaboration marks a significant step in AIMST University’s vision of expanding global partnerships in medical education, allied health, and scientific research, further enriching opportunities for students and staff alike.
