Meet Nah Zhi Yi, our Year 4 BDS student, who proudly represented AIMST University at the prestigious AVEP 2024 Academic Visit & Exchange Program held at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
This incredible programme united participants and staff from five ASEAN countries—the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand—in a vibrant exchange of ideas, cultures and expertise.

🎓 Faculty Tour
Zhi Yi explored state-of-the-art facilities, including the Dental Clinics, Radiology Department, Human Body Museum, Vach Vidyavaddhana Museum, and the cutting-edge Simodont dental simulator.
📚 Lectures & Workshops
✨ The Smile Analysis Lecture – A deep dive into dental aesthetics principles and designing prosthetics to meet both practitioner and patient expectations.
✨ Aesthetic Crown Staining Workshop – A hands-on session mastering techniques to stain dental ceramic restorations with precision.
Beyond academics, Zhi Yi embraced the chance to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds, exchange ideas and immerse in the richness of Thai culture. The programme was a transformative experience that enhanced her knowledge, practical skills and personal growth.
