AIMST UNIVERSITY AND MULTICARE HEALTH PHARMACY SDN BHD SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between AIMST University and Multicare Health Pharmacy Sdn Bhd (MHP) was held on 17 April 2024. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration between both organisations, and it signifies our shared commitment to promoting cooperation in various areas aimed at benefiting our students and advancing our respective fields.
During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Kathiresan V. Sathasivam, Vice-Chancellor & Chief Executive of AIMST University, and Mr. Ricky Lim Li Qi, General Manager of MHP, formally inked the MOU, signifying the commencement of our partnership. The event was witnessed by Dr. Kiran Reddy, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic & International Affairs and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Associate Professor Dr. G. Prabhakaran, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research & Industry Linkages, Senior Associate Professor Dr. Sundram Karuppiah, the Registrar, Professor Dr. Nahlah Elkudssiah Ismail, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, as well as representatives from MHP, Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Business Development Division of AIMST University.
The MOU outlines various collaborative initiatives, including providing financial support for deserving students, internships, career fairs, job shadowing, company visits, guest lectures, alumni networking, research partnerships, and part-time job opportunities for students in their third and fourth years of pharmacy studies.
We are excited about the opportunities that this partnership will bring and are eager to embark on collaborative projects that will benefit both parties and contribute to the advancement of our shared goals.
