DR. MERLINDA SHAZELLENNE – A GLOBAL HEALTHCARE LEADER IN ACTION
We are glad to introduce Dr. Merlinda Shazellenne, an alumna of AIMST University, who is making notable contributions in the international healthcare arena as the Medical Education Director of the Junior Doctors Network World Medical Association (JDN WMA international management team).
Dr. Merlinda’s journey in healthcare leadership began with her exceptional academic achievements, ultimately leading to an MBBS degree from AIMST University in 2013. Her dedication and commitment to excellence were further recognised when she was conferred with the AIMST Tomorrow’s Leader Alumni Award in 2022.
Over the past decade, she has been a cornerstone of Malaysia’s healthcare sector, serving with unwavering passion and expertise with the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) Malaysia. As the State Head of the Occupational Health Section for DOSH Negeri Sembilan, she has played a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of countless individuals and communities.
In addition to her role within MOH, Dr. Merlinda is an active life member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), serving on the MMA committee for Negeri Sembilan, National Health Policy Committee and previously held the position of Chairperson of JDN MMA (Malaysia).
