EMPOWERING STUDENTS: BUILDING MENTAL WELLNESS FOR SUCCESS

The Faculty of Applied Sciences organized an engaging talk on Mental and Emotional Health for undergraduate students, aimed at promoting self care, resilience, and a supportive campus community.

The session was delivered by esteemed speaker Kapten Bersekutu (PA) Yusri bin Mohd Yusof, KPBA, Head of the Counseling Psychology Unit at Klinik Kesihatan Bandar Baru Sungai Petani, Ministry of Health Malaysia. Through an insightful and impactful presentation, students gained valuable knowledge on recognizing the early signs of mental distress, building emotional resilience, and seeking appropriate support with confidence.

The programme also encouraged students to prioritize mental well being, foster empathy, and strengthen mutual support among peers essential foundations for both academic success and personal growth.
