MIED CHEQUE PRESENTATION CEREMONY 2024

On 26 April 2024, the Maju Institute of Education Development (MIED) marked another significant milestone in nurturing future professionals by awarding scholarships and study loans totalling over RM 15 million to 671 deserving students. Among them, 584 recipients are pursuing degrees in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, business, information technology (IT), and foundation studies at AIMST University.

The funds disbursed for AIMST University students, amounting to RM 13.5 million, underscore MIED’s commitment to fostering excellence in key sectors vital to Malaysia’s growth and development. These scholarships and study loans alleviate the financial burden on students and pave the way for emergence of skilled professionals who will contribute significantly to their respective fields and the nation.

Held at Dewan Sri Siantan Perbadanan Putrajaya, the MIED Cheque Presentation Ceremony 2024 was graced by the esteemed presence of YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, who ceremoniously officiated the ceremony. Among the distinguished attendees were YBHG Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. SA. Vigneswaran, President of MIC and MIED Chairman, who is also the Honourable Chancellor of AIMST University.

Additionally, the event saw the participant of key figures in the Malaysian Government, including YB Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Higher Education Minister, YB Datuk Ramanan Ramakrishnan, Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, and YB Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, MIC Deputy President.

The ceremony signifies a substantial investment in the education sector and underscore the collective dedication towards nurturing and empowering the next of leaders. Through these transformative initiatives, MIED and AIMST University play a pivotal role in fostering academic excellence and socio-economic development, laying the foundation for Malaysia’s brighter and more prosperous future.
