Proud moment for AIMST University!
Ahrineesha Subramaniam, Taonashe Bare, and Brendan Wong Kah Kit, Year 2 Biomedical Science students, achieved 2nd Prize (Non-Clinical Undergraduate) at the 2nd RUMC International Medical Conference, held at Wawasan Open University.
Their research explored in silico molecular docking of rosmarinic acid from Orthosiphon stamineus (Misai Kucing) on proteins associated with chronic renal failure (CRF), showcasing innovation and scientific curiosity beyond their academic level.
Despite this being their first conference experience, they rose to the challenge through dedication, independent research, and strong mentorship competing among many talented participants.
This remarkable achievement reflects their perseverance, passion, and commitment to excellence in research.
